that's right baby! while i don't got any major idea of what this website could even be about, i'm gonna use it to advertise my favorite pieces of slightly obscure media!

and i'm starting off with a banger, NSO!

this game is basically some sort of breed between a visual novel and one of those games where you take care of a pet so it doesn't starve to death and leave you with the strong feeling of guilt for being a terrible parent.

except that you take care of Ame, your cute and needy gamer girlfriend instead! :D

but don't let the flashy anime girls and cute-looking imagery fool you. this game is messed up, i tell ya! MESSED UP! as in, heavy topics kind of messed up! topics like self-harm, sexual engagement, a bunchton of swearing, depression, a LOT of drugs (lots of them actually) etc. messed up!

BUT DON'T GO JUST YET!! i wouldn't be recommending this game if it was all just a bunch of sensible garbage now would i? despite all of that medication-side-effects ass stuff i just told you, it's still pretty neat.

• it has quite an interesting story about this weird dynamic the player has with Ame
• it has some dark humor. don't tell anyone about it or else i won't go to heaven, but i chuckled sometimes while playing this game.
• it also has some dark moments that instead of making you laugh, makes you feel bad. i'd hate getting into spoilers, but there's this one ending called "INTERNET OVERDOSE", and it's just... DAMN. you get to see the pitful process of an (kinda) innocent girl drifting into insanity in the span of a week, and the game delivers that like a punch in the face. and that punch got me where it hurts :(
• oh btw there's like 27 endings in this game. that's about 5 times more endings than your average indie game!
• also this game is an indie, which means that it sells for a reasonable price. so buy it. buy it. buy it right now.

go play this silly game or else she's going to your house irl and PISS ON YOUR DOORSTEP.

but um yeah, that's basically my recommendation for today!
